Frozen Watermelon Margaritas!

Last weekend I bought one of those really big watermelons and then realized it wouldn’t fit in my refrigerator.  I cut it up into bite size cubes, put it in a bowl in the fridge and went to the internet to find a few recipes.  It was hot and what caught my eye was Frozen Watermelon Margaritas. They look good, they taste good and they used up some of my watermelon!  I liked how the recipe calls for you to freeze the watermelon cubes until you are ready to use them. Great tip!  Watermelon can be a little bland so be sure you have one that is ripe and tasty to start out or you will not be happy.  I garnished ours with fresh mint. Cheers!

I LOVE this idea, I’ll be at the beach next week and will have one of these in-hand! One of my go-to summer diet drinks is what I can watermelon water: Fill up your blender with watermelon slices (or cubes) add the juice of 1 lime, blend, enjoy!
    Thanks Ridgley!
