5 Things in My Beauty Bag | 07

With a deep, deep freeze in New England it means my skin goes into a parched, miserable state. By the end of the day, my face feels tight, itchy and in need of some hydration. I sometimes take some oil or moisturizer and pat it all over my face so I get some relief before I get home and can get off my makeup. I am looking for a thirst quenching, skin softening moisturizer to nourish my sensitive dry face that will keep my skin hydrated all day. There are so many option out there and I am at a loss. I am thinking about this Ultra Moisturizing Balm, but it might be too think to wear under my makeup.  Have any ideas?  I would love some help!

In the mean time, I love this hand lotion (posted here), I keep one in my bag, next to my bed and on my desk. It is thick, but sinks in and feels great.  I am a big fan of these silk pillows (I have a pink one for traveling so I don’t lose my white one in a sea of white Hotel pillows!) and they are the best for both your face and hair. They are one of my must have beauty products!  I just got this hair mask and will let you know how I like it after I give it a go.  Please share your favorite Winter Skin Savers in the Comments!

What’s New On My Vanity

I love finding new body oils (remember this post and this one?) and the newest addition to my vanity is from Norell New York.  The gorgeous bottle is what got my attention, but lets be honest, if it doesn’t smell good then its not going to make it home with me. The good news is that I really like the scent and that it is enriched with essential oils. It is more sensuous and musky than I usually wear but, I like mixing it up depending on my mood and it is really nice sprinkled in a hot bath. I normally keep my body oils in my bathroom but the bottle is so glamorous I keep it with my perfumes on my vanity in my bedroom.
