Last Fall, Wendy, a good friend of mine, and I received an email from a joint friend who had just gone to the Aire Ancient Baths in Barcelona. She said it was “the most relaxing, peaceful experience, in an exquisite place… not to be missed” and, to entice us even more, she included the link to the New York Aire Ancient Baths. Immediately, Wendy and I started plotting when we could go. Somehow, like so many great ideas, time got away from us and we have not made our appointment. I have been thinking more and more about going and, with the recent dip in the temperatures and the long days of winter , I am feeling like there is no better time than now to treat ourselves. According to the website:
Each session is scheduled for two hours and includes the Thermal Baths and Aromatherapy with or without a Relaxing Massage. The baths are coed, unless the space is booked for one gender, and are limited to 20 people per session. All you need to bring is your bathing suit, as towels and slippers are provided.
I will be back with a review when Wendy and I (finally!) get ourselves to the Aire Ancient Baths and get to experience it first hand. To be continued…
Looks exotic and tempting!! Can’t wait to hear more!
“Good Friend Wendy” is ready to go! Maybe we convince Breda to fly over and join us! Pick the week and I’ll make the plan 🙂
Great idea! I’m getting out my calendar!
Very good place for spend some moments. I will try to plan at my week end. Thanks for such a good place.
Let me know how you like it!
