I have had the worst chapped lips this Summer… nothing is more annoying and Aquaphor alone is not working. They are not a peeling chapped but more of a light burn chapped. How this has happened I have no idea, I wear a huge hat at the beach and do not bare my lips to the elements. Something is in the air because I know several others who are in the same predicament! The beauty gals in the office offered me some Nivea Lip Butter they got in a treat bag from a recent event they attended and I am on day two of using it.
I have the Raspberry Rose Kiss, it is a light pink color that goes on clear and has a subtle flavor and smell. It is very smooth to apply, so smooth that you need to watch out when you open the tin because you can sink your finger into the butter. I would worry the product would melt if it was left in the sun or a hot spot for too long, but for walking around in your bag I think it will be fine. I like the texture, the smell does not bother me and it feels good on my lips, I will give it a few more days to see if it can be part of my chapped lips remedy. If not, it is certainly a nice daily smoother.
