Have you heard of Warby Parker? I had heard of them, but it took me a minute to recall the company name and full story. A girl in our office ordered several of their eyeglasses to try and then bought a pair that she liked with her prescription. At the time, I was fascinated with the process but, had recently purchased a pair of eyeglasses and was not ready to get another pair, but stored the scoop in the back of my mind. Fast forward to a week ago… I got an email from Warby Parker that they were launching their Winter Collection and would I be interested in checking it out. Yes, yes and yes! Especially when I did an office poll that came back with rave reviews and everyone wanted to see and know more.
The cool thing about Warby Parker is their home try-on program which lets you pick five frames (shipped free to you) for five days. After five days of checking yourself out, taking selfies, and asking your nearest and dearest for their opinions you return the five pairs (free return shipping, with no obligation to buy.) If you do decide to buy a pair of glasses (prices start at $95) you will be joining their do-good program: buy a pair give a pair. Every pair they sell, they provide one to someone in need. So not only are you getting a cool new pair of glasses but you are giving back at the same time. What is not to love about that?
They have many styles of both optical and sunwear (with or without a prescription) to choose from and all you need to do is go to their website and start picking out your favorites to try at home. If you are not in need of a new look, maybe someone you know is, in that case, they have gift cards available for everyone on your list. I have filled my basket with my top choices and am going to give them a whirl with the gang at the office.
To be continued…
