Busy weekends, especially a holiday one, calls for a dessert that is quick and easy to make but doesn’t skimp on taste or chocolate! This weekend, I was busy doing yard work and didn’t have time to sit in my kitchen rotating baking sheets in the oven to make cookies, so I made Chocolate Chunk Blondies. I took the butter and eggs out of the refrigerator when I woke up and came back at lunch time to mix it all together and bake. I used a 9 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ baking dish as I did not have the size pan recommended and added an extra 5 minutes to the baking time. I was a little worried I under cooked the blondies, but they turned out perfectly! I took them to a friends house for dessert and the entire plate was finished. I am glad I saved back a few for us to have tonight. Happy Memorial Day, enjoy the beautiful day!
