I have always had a soft spot for the Easter Bunny, probably because our grandmother used to make Easter so much fun when we were growing up. She had a million bunnies in all shapes and sizes that she would pile on to the dining room table to greet us on Easter morning. I have a few bunnies of my own and still like to put them on our table for us all to enjoy. For this table, I picked one of my favorites to be the main event and dotted the table with my grandmother’s green bottles filled with ranunculus. It was a simple, rustic setting for a casual dinner at home. I am looking forward to spending the weekend with my family and might even hide some eggs for my teenage sons to look for… just like when they were little!
I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend – Happy Easter!

This is absolutely beautiful !!! Classic , elegant and fun!! I want to hear more about th green bottles and your grandmother !
Cynthia – You are the best! My grandmother was a huge gardener and loved to arrange flowers – she was amazing at it! She had more vases and vessels than you can ever imagine. I took all the green ones 🙂 – I have a dark purple dining room and the green is a wonderful accent color with it. Anyway – I love finding vintage glass bottles, so when i see ones I like at flea markets and tag sales – I grab them. Its fun to collect and then I have so many options when I go to set my table. The only issue now is I have collections of lots of things for our table…table clothes, napkins, etc that are taking over my house! Have a Happy Easter! xxRidge
I love this and am also hiding some eggs tomorrow! Happy Easter!
