Making a Plan for 2018

December 31, 2017

Do you have a plan for 2018?   I normally roll into the New Year thinking I will get to the gym more and cut out the wine.  Last year, I was well into my health and wellness journey so that by New Years my resolutions were in full swing.  I was so excited about my own results and how good I felt that I began coaching and helping others feel amazing. I realized I am not a stand alone dieter or exerciser.  I need a friend or, even better, a whole team to make me stay the course and be accountable so that I reach my goals and maintain them.  I need FOMO!

Ridgely Brode looks ahead to the New Year and makes a plan for 2018 to be healthy and to help others reach their goals on her blog Ridgely's Radar.

This year, I am stepping it up a notch and joined a 6 week Carb Cycling Challenge in addition to my current system.  I can see you right now thinking… “What is a Carb Cycling Challenge?” It simply means, because I googled it to make sure:

Eating more carbohydrates on some days and less on others. High carb days promote muscle growth and help you perform at your best, while low carb days encourage fat loss (or at least, minimize fat gain). You get the best of both worlds.

I am curious myself to see how it will work and I am going to share my journey with you as I gear up and go through the program. The group of 80+ people, some I know and most I do not know, will be doing this challenge together starting January 7th – talk about accountability and keeping up with the team!  Eeeek!  Once I get back home and have time to dive into my materials, getting familiar with the program, I will post my initial thoughts and the program details. If you are curious to follow along I will put all the posts in the Health Energy Success page which is under the Lifestyle tab on the Menu bar.  I will also be sharing in our community and if you want to see those exclusive posts please join to see more.

I will also be coaching and guiding my team through our January Jolt 30 Day Reset starting January 8th. It is going to be amazing and we have an awesome line up of coaches and support for our team to get the best results.

If you want to get healthy and be the BEST YOU, I would love to help you reach your goals.  Just fill out the form found here and we can schedule a time to chat about what your 2018 goals are.  And please follow my on Instagram at @ridgelybrode for inspiration and motivation.

Here is to being our Healthiest and Happiest in the coming year!  I know 2018 is going to be amazing!
