I can’t believe I am going to say this, but I need a new pair of classic black pumps. Yes, this girl who has a closet full of shoes is missing a really simple black heel that goes with everything. I am looking for a pump that is in the 3.5 inch range, any higher and for me it would not be basic, that would be for special occasions and when I do not need to walk anywhere. I would love suede, but my practical side says…no way they would be trashed in a nano second. I also love patent leather, but that might be more of a Summer shoe. I know, I am making this harder than it needs to be. Lets see what you think of these 5 classic black pumps, the main difference between them all, besides price, is the heel placement and the shape of the toe (pointy seems be back in style verses the round). I think it is important to splurge on a closet staple ( like this, this and this) but if you are looking for an alternative price range check out these classic styles.
to buy: 1. Gianvito Rossi Pumps / 2. Jimmy Choo Agnes Pump / 3. Prada Pointy Toe Pump / 4. Prada Almond Toe Pump / 5. Manolo Blahnik ‘BB’ Pump
Number 5 has the best curvy shape! I vote #5.
Agree with Kim, #5 is the best! Of course…..

I agree that #5 is my personal favorite. Curious about the leathers though. I tend to ruin my soft, kidd leather shoes, especially at the toe area. Patent Leather is almost indestructible and looks newer longer. Any advice on best leather quality shoes? Don’t you think Patent Leather can be worn year round?
