I get so excited when we have people over for dinner and I can decorate my table, create a theme and use many of my vintage finds. We recently had a group over and I really wasn’t sure what I wanted to use for the table until we stopped in Trader Joe’s to pick up some groceries and I spied the sun flowers, eucalyptus leaves and gourds. They were so inexpensive and I thought i would use them as inspiration.
I love setting my Fall table with grocery store flowers!
I still had no idea what I was going to create until I started rooting around my shelves to see what I had for vases and decided to use different size bottles I have saved over the years. Anytime I see a fun glass bottle at the grocery store or wine bottle, I buy it and then save it to use as a vase. These tall glass bottles are Sparkling Lemonade ones – I can’t for the life of me remember where or when we found them but I found them here on amazon so you can get them too.
Tip: Save your glass jars and bottles for vases
I could have lined the bottles down my table but instead corralled them in a wooden long planter box I had found at a flea market. They are pretty easy to find and if not, you could make one if you are handy..
I started with a long piece of raw burlap as a runner (you could also but table runner like these ) and layered everything on top of it. I made a short video of the process and linked to similar items so that you could re-create the look.
