It feels like every morning I get in the car to drive to the train station, I hear a commercial for Third Love. They are supposedly the best fitting, most comfortable bras and you won’t want to tear them off the minute you get home from a long day. Sound familiar? Finally, after months of hearing about them, I decided to take the plunge, pun intended, and buy myself one of their amazing 24/7 t-shirt bras. No, this is not sponsored, I honestly had to see if their ads were actually true. Same thing with My Pillow and the Air Fryer... maybe I will give them a try as well and give you my reviews at some point but right now lets talk bras.
This is not sponsored, I really did take the Bra test and pay for the bras I ordered!
The website makes you go through a series of questions to find out your perfect size and then you are given a selection of bras to choose from. They are all similar with a few variations. I went with my standard size, luckily I had been recently measured (see this post) and decided to buy 3 bras. One of the main reasons I have not tried them before is that I do not like a padded or fully lined style. I have enough to work with and adding more is not really what I am going for and I feel like, on me, if can look a bit bullet proof. But the commercials wore me down…
Yes, I bought Bras from an Infomercial on the Radio!!!
When the box arrived, I tried them all on and they did fit perfectly. One check for sizing! I decided to break in the classic 24/7 t-shirt bra first to see if it stood up to all the claims, keeping the others safely in their box in case I want to return them. I have now worn it under a t-shirt, sweater and button down from dawn to dusk. It was comfortable and I did not feel like I needed to rip it off the minute I got home. I did not mind how I looked wearing it with a t-shirt and, for a true comparison, I wore one of my other neutral bras today with a t-shirt all day to have a fresh perspective. Interestingly, I felt like I was spilling over my other bra, which was not a good look, and it was digging into me by the end of the day. So check the box for all day comfort and another check for coverage. That’s three checks for Third Love! I also want to note that a reader commented that she loved her Third Love bras because the cups come in 1/2 sizes. Thats a pretty good option that I hadn’t realized was available.
All in all? I am not going to return any of them I still need to get used to the padding, but now know it is better than the spillage I was showing off today and in certain tops it is a better under pinning then anything I currently own. I am going to un-box the others and break out the 24/7 Lace Balconnette for a test drive. I’ll let you know how that goes.
to buy: 24/7 Seamless Stripe T-Shirt Bra / 24/7 T-Shirt Bra / 24/7 Lace Balconnette / Mercer Camo Jacket / Ivory Sweater / Camp Jacket / Ann Mashburn Floral Shirt Old (more styles here) / White Whisper T-Shirt
I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine!
I bought one and dont “love” it. It’s just ok. The sides come up too far under my armpits and I cant adjust the straps without them fAlling off. I bought the tshirt bra and The full COVERAGE style. They both look *ahem* bullet proof. I Kept the t shirt bra since i had worn it., but sent the other one back. I Would RATHER wear Walcoal., And frankly, an inexpensive Bali bra fits better than Third love.
REALLY appreciate the reviews! Seems like the older I get, the more difficult it is to find a comfortable, well-made, well-fittng bra. Most styles have grown so extreme they just aren’t relevant to me anymore, and I’m only 54!
