When I am on vacation, especially at the beach, there is nothing better than spending time with my family and then sneaking away to enjoy a little time alone to reflect and be alone with myself. I love to walk up and back along the tide, in and out of the water, taking my time and enjoying where I am. Someone recently asked me if I ever really relax and I had to agree with her that it was pretty hard for me to stop everything and just be. So this vacation I have really tried to stop my mind from bouncing around and to put all my gadgets away even when I wanted to write a new post, catch up with work emails, check Instagram and see what fabulous things my friends are doing on Facebook. And guess what?? It felt better being present and in the moment with my sons and husband then constantly “checking in” remotely. I also spent many of the mornings greeting the sunrise and evenings basking in the sunset as I worked on my photography skills. I am still finding my way around my camera, but I love learning and discovering what I can create through the lens. 2015 has been a wonderful learning and exploration for me through the blog and I look forward to trying new things in 2016. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy sharing with you and I appreciate you following along with me. Thank you for all your support!! I am excited to see what inspires me and is on my radar for 2016! Here’s to a healthy and happy 2016!
