Are You Still Looking for the Perfect Pair of Jeans?

Are you like me? Are you still looking for the perfect pair of jeans? I am always looking and “shopping” off women I see on the street or on-line. I look at the length of their jeans compared to their shoes. The width of the hem of the jeans – are they wide, flared, slim, straight, skinny or tight? Are they frayed, high low, or hemmed?

True confessions…. I think about these things and then I try to find the exact pair that works on me.

While I love my jeggings and skinny jeans, I have been looking for a good flared jean.. not too cropped, not raw edged. I went back to Madewell to see if my favorite cali jeans fit the bill. I love my frayed ones – I have in both denim and black but they are cropped – perfect for Summer – but I am looking for a longer length.

Luckily – you can get them on-line in black and in blue denim in the tall length.. (29″ inseam for the tall versus 26″for the regular) . I am 5′ 7″ and 29″ inseam is perfect for a little crop flare on me.

I didn’t stop there. I found Banana Republic has a mid-rise flared jean in several washes. The are offered in the same inseams 26″ for regular and 29″ for tall. Again, you can only get the tall length on-line. To be sure I get the right pair – I bought the Madewell in black and the Banana in denim to see which I prefer.

In the mean time – I pulled together a few “looks” to pair with each one. I am excited to start wearing sweaters, boots and warm jackets. Talking about jackets.. how great is this faux fur jacket and its shorter bomber version .. add a great looking crossbody and scarf to finish off the look! So chic!
