Don’t you hate it when you think you are going to an inside party and wear your favorite stilettos only to find out when you arrive that you will be outside on the lawn? Ahhh, the shoe-catastrophe of the summer! This was me this past weekend when we went to our sons graduation. I actually packed a flat and a heel but wore the heels. Darn! I did think about it when I was packing, but I didn’t really have a good wedge to go with the dress I was wearing. So I decided to just risk it and ended up on the balls of my feet for several hours. Which got me putting together this post and shopping for a pair of neutral wedges or flats that would work with most of the dresses I own. I was trying to find something that was not an espadrille or cork as that is much more casual than what I was looking for. I now know why I do not have this hi-heeled wedge in my shoe arsenal because it is almost impossible to find. There are these selections from Jimmy Choo that are an option but I am not sure I like the criss-cross strap. I am leaning towards the Loeffler Randall, what do you think?
