Red and Black Buffalo Plaid

Last weekend we got outside and did our Christmas decorations. Luckily it was a pretty mild day, which was perfect for getting some much needed fresh air and to see who else was doing the same thing in our neighborhood. I wore this really soft and flattering ivory chenille sweater with the Compassion Fund Snowflake Locket, which 100% of proceeds will be donated to community based organizations that directly help women through the J.Jill’s Compassion Fund. The Snowflake Locket is the perfect accessory to spruce up a casual outfit and I love that it is giving back to such a wonderful cause especially during the holidays.

I don’t normally wear red but this red and black buffalo plaid scarf caught my eye and I like how it has a small pattern on one side and a larger pattern on the other. I have a feeling it will go with so many things I wear and you will be seeing more of it in the coming months. Maybe I should add a little more red to my wardrobe.. It is certainly cheerful and in the spirit!
