Update Your Home with these New Fall Decorations

I used to go all out when the kids were little, decorating the house for Halloween. Take a look at this Post I did years ago.. see what I mean?! I am not sure what is more frightening.. the decorations or my pictures!! 🙂 It sure was a fun party!! Maybe I should re-create it again this year.

These days I like to bring in Fall accents like felt pumpkins, autumn flowers and rustic linens to add to our decor.

We have a Colonial house with the staircase going up the side of the living room. up against it we have a table flanked by two chairs. We walk by that table all day long to go anywhere in our house. Since it is a focal point, I like to put a seasonal arrangement or accent for us to enjoy on it. I just made this arrangement. What do you think?

Can you tell that they are Faux Flowers?

I am so impressed – they look so real! I am so excited to have this arrangement to enjoy everyday as I walk by it. While I love fresh flowers, I don’t always have a chance to pick up my favorites at the Farmer’s Market and carry them home from New York City. So this is the perfect way to have flowers all the time! Yay!

While I was looking I found some more decorating items you might like. I think these felted wool acorns are so great! They would be so pretty in a shallow bowl on your coffee table.
