Waffle & Pancake Basic Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon (scant) Baking Powder
  • 1 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Combine the wet ingredients first: egg, milk, yogurt or sour cream and oil. mix until combined.
  2. Add the flour and baking powder to the wet ingredients and mix well, it will be lumpy.
  3. Scoop onto griddle or waffle iron and cook until ready
  4. Serve with syrup
