I am always searching for new books and am sharing 9 titles I am excited to read this Winter. I found 2 the books from a friend on Goodreads. If you are not familiar with Goodreads, you should check it out. Here is what it says on their website:
Goodreads is a free website for book lovers. Imagine it as a large library that you can wander through and see everyone’s bookshelves, their reviews, and their ratings. You can also post your own reviews and catalog what you have read, are currently reading, and plan to read in the future. Don’t stop there – join a discussion group, start a book club, contact an author, and even post your own writing.
I have the app on my phone and whenever I find a book I want to read I add it to my “to read’ list and it is waiting for me when I am looking for my next book. I love checking off what I have read, leaving reviews so I can go back to remember what I read and what I thought of it. As I get older and a little forgetful (!) this is a very useful tool. If you are a member, or you just join now, find me and we can follow each other.
See below for my current list and if you have any favorites, please leave a comment so we can all add them to our lists! Thank you!
top: We Are Called to Rise / A Great Reckoning /A Man Called Ove
middle: The Housekeeper and the Professor /32 Yolks /Salt to the SeaA Great Reckoning

Love your blog! One book I can recommend is All the Time in the World by Caroline
Angell, a Goodreads 4 star. LOVED!!!
I just finished Along the Infinite Sea tonight. Loved it and loved Secret Life of Violet Grant.
Trying to figure out what to read next 🤔
The Housekeeper and The Professor is a great read with brilliant mathematical
metaphors.
