It is getting Spooky at my house! I recently went to an Estate Sale and found this large glass vase/ terrarium for $8 and bought it for $5. I really did not have a plan for it until I broke out the Halloween bins and thought it would be fun to make a Spooky Terrarium.

Here is How I made My Spooky Terrarium
(Printable Directions) Spooky Terrarium Instructions
1. After giving the vase a huge clean, I cut the bottom corner of a black garbage bag, filled it with about a cup of packing peanuts and placed it in the bottom of the vase.
2. I then took a bag of Reindeer Moss and scattered it on top of the black garbage bag, making sure to cover the edges.
3. I placed black stones and other natural colored stones around the moss and down the edges

Supplies: Vase/ Terrarium / Black Garbage bag / Scissors / Reindeer Moss / Spanish Moss / Vase Filler Stones / Twigs – I used ones from my yard / Spider Web / Toy Hairy Spider / All Supplies are in my DIY Projects Shop on Amazon

Note: This Post is originally from October 2013! WOW! I loved making this terrarium so much , I decided to refresh the post and share it again! You could make this with any size vase or glass terrarium. A miniature one would be so cute.. Hmmm.. maybe I will do that this year!
