It is coming up to a long weekend, plus a school break for Connecticut next week, and many of my pals are off to points south and north to enjoy a little time with their families. One big item on my to-do list right before a vacation is to find a few new titles to load up on my Kindle and, thinking of all my traveling friends, went looking for some new books. One book I am excited to read is Ruta Sepetys’ new novel Salt to the Sea. My book club will remember reading her book Between Shades of Gray a few years ago and then going to hear her speak at our local bookstore. She was so personable and hearing her speak about researching the book was fascinating. It made the book even more memorable. Her books are in the teen and young adult category, but don’t make that a reason not to pick them up. Between Shades of Gray was a really moving and interesting book, please take a moment to read my review and hopefully it will interest you too! I love a good mystery and Secret Sisters
piqued my interest, I haven’t read anything by Jane Ann Krentz but I saw she gets great reviews and I am looking forward to giving it a go. And lastly, I pre-ordered this new release from Debbie Macomber because I have to one (or two) guilty pleasures and her books are the perfect romance to cuddle up with on a freezing day or under an umbrella at the beach. What are you reading? Please share in the comments so my readers can find more titles to enjoy…
to buy: Kindle / A Girl’s Guide to Moving On: A Novel / Secret Sisters / Salt to the Sea
