You Can Never Have Too Many Totes

As far as I am concerned, you can never have too many totes!  It is like striped tops, I seem to fall into them everywhere I go and am always buying more. I was searching around for a day bag and found all these totes, not what I need but now I want a few of them!  Take a look, you will be surprised by how reasonable some of them are, as well as, being super versatile and will look well with many different outfits from the city to the beach.

Florida Gets Me Excited for Resortwear

We just arrived in Florida and all I want to do is throw on my suit, a cover up and sit in the sun.  The weather is gorgeous and I am going to sink my teeth into several of these books on my Kindle.  I am bummed because I forgot my rash guard and its probably time to get a new one, so I am looking at this one, this full suit style (I am not sure I can pull of the backside), and this all white quarter zip. While I am shopping, I wouldn’t mind a new full piece and I  like this striped one, this classic white, this high neck black, and this slimming bandeau.  And to top it all off, I am interested in so many cover ups…this low back dress, this mutli-color one, this pair of white beach pants, this voile dress and this strapless mini dress.  As usual, I will have to narrow it down because there is no way I can have them all…

Look-alikes: Camo Totes

Right around from where we were staying in Paris was Herve Chapelier, a wonderful store full of nylon totes in a range of sizes and colors.  Think LeSportsac for Parisians.  I have always loved their little bags and this time their shop was full of printed Camo bags in pinks, blues and greens.  I was so excited to bring one home with me, but all the shops were closed for the Holidays when we were there. I will have to buy it on-line and have it shipped if I want it to be mine or I can go with the classic American LL Bean Hunter’s Tote

Christen Maxwell Totes and Travel Cases

Earlier this Spring I was searching for the perfect hostess present for a very good friend and happened upon these fabulous totes from Christen Maxwell.  I love the color blocked metallic burlap and that they have a water resistant lining.  I held back and did not buy one for myself, which is what I usually do when I find a total score, but now I am re-thinking that and am deciding between the Chrissy, which has a more square bottom, and the Marché tote in the Capri (which is one of my favorite places in the world!).  I am also going to get a travel case to go with it for all my little essentials.  They really are perfect for the beach, around town, the market and off to work!  They are on sale for the next four days on One Kings Lane – so grab them while they are still available!
