For July 4th, we were in Newport, Rhode Island and spent a fun afternoon enjoying the views and cocktails at Castle Hill Inn. We had their specialty cocktail Blueberry Lemonade and enjoyed every single sip. We thought it would be fun to make a round for everyone this weekend at the beach. WOW! They are so delicious, especially after a long day on the beach. Refreshing, light, and so easy to drink.
We did not have a muddler, so we did not muddle the blueberries and the mint we brought did not make the trip 🙁 , so we garnished the drink with fresh blueberries and a wedge of lemon. We did have a bottle of the St-Germain Edelberry Liquer that we used for our New Years Cocktail (see post here) and have been seeing it pop up in recipes recently. I think it might be the new hip ingredient! You cant go wrong serving these drinks, your guests will love them. Cheers!
