I love straw hats and am always wearing one on a sunny day at the beach. I wear them to protect my face and hair from the sun…plus they are great on bad hair days!
If you don’t want sun-kissed tresses, throw on a hat to protect your professional color.
When I was younger I would put lemon in my hair to get it blonder but now that I have it professionally colored, I like to maintain it longer.
I have had all kinds of straw hats over the years, most of them are beach hats that end up pretty well worn and misshapen by the end of the Summer. I stack them up inside each other in an old hatbox in my closet. When I was packing to move, I realized most of them needed to be thrown out and replaced. I have a few remaining and have been wearing this wide brim packable hat that survived…barely.
Now that I am in the Sunshine State for good, I am on the hunt for some new hats. I would like one that works for the beach and one that has more structure for lunch outside or a stroll down Worth Avenue 🙂
I rounded up some favorites and can’t wait to give them a try. I will then need to figure out a better way to store them… maybe a wall of hats or a hat stand??
