Do you wear a straw hat in the Summer? I love a good straw hat! I wear them to keep the sun off my face and to cover up a bad hair day. I try to find ones that aren’t expensive for the beach and pool, so I don’t worry about them getting wet or messed up. I may wear a more expensive one around town or to a lunch date.
I recently wore a few on Instagram and thought I would share them here for those looking to buy the ones I wore or find something similar.
I have different hats for different purposes.
For in and out of the water, I really like this one because it has a thick straw weave, a cushioned inside, the brim is not too wide and it has strap for windy days.
When I sit in a chair or am lying on a chaise reading, I like to have a hat that has a soft foldable brim so I can lean back and it doesn’t hit the back of the chair. For those times, I wear either this packable and foldable hat or this canvas soft large brim that can fold up in the back. I have both of them and I can put them in my beach bag or suitcase when traveling.
For more “formal” beach days, I wear this woven straw hat ( I was wearing it here in this reel) that is a staple in my closet.
A few Honorable Mentions..
One of the hardest hats to find is one with a white ribbon instead of black – so if that is something you are looking for you should take a look at this ivory trim one and this very popular one with a white band.
