I love my hot coffee, but when the temperature starts to climb I like to switch to ice coffee. I recently started pouring the extra coffee from each mornings pot into my new large ice cub trays and freezing them. Because the size of the cubes are much bigger, it takes longer to really freeze the squares, so plan ahead and be prepared to wait for them to harden.
Pour your Leftover Coffee into Large Ice Cube Trays!
This weekend I had my first iced coffee with the coffee ice cubes. I made an extra pot of my favorite Costa Rican Cafe 1820 coffee and let it come to room temperature, then poured it over two cubes, added some milk and settled down to enjoy it with a new book. It was divine! The coffee cubes did not water down my drink but added to the intense coffee flavor. If only I had a hammock, with a table near by to rest my glass, and then it would have been the perfect afternoon delight…

Pretty!
What a great idea!!! I will be ordering theses trays. I’m reading one of the books you recommend ( delicious ) I’m really enjoying it.. Theses trays will be great for summer entertaining… Thank you
Such a genius idea! I’ve actually thought about doing this several times and once pinned a post about how you should freeze the coffee AND the cream in the same ice cube tray! I really need to try it!
