I love a good chocolate chip cookie and I have posted my fair share in the past, but I have been looking for a really good white chocolate chip recipe. The reason being that our accountant, who loves cookies as much as I do, prefers white chocolate chips and I like to send homemade cookies to him during tax season and then again when quarterly payments are due. He is happy to try and share any cookies I send his way and was particularly pleased to receive the recent batch of chocolate chocolate white chocolate chip cookies . I found the recipe on The Pioneer Woman and, while I did not follow her step by step pictures, I did follow the recipe. For some reason my cookies came out thin, and slightly crispy on the edges and chewy in the middle. A very yummy cookie that to my taste needs a little tweaking. I am going to make a few changes to the ingredients and see if I can see what is missing. Give them a try and see what you think.. maybe it is just that I am not a white chocolate chip lover…

Actually, I think yours look better than hers! I like cookies that are thin, not thick and gooey…. I’ll try these and let you know.
Oh, and I also find that any dough to cookie is better when put in fridge for a few hours…wonder why? But it works!
